Yoga Classes for Everyone
Yoga classes and meditation sittings at The Studio are open to all, regardless of age, ability, or previous experience. Each class at our studio in Westfield, New York, usually has between 5 and 15 students and is guided by the instructor and sometimes an assistant, who will offer personal guidance during the class. While the atmosphere is casual and enjoyable, we take our teaching seriously. Our wish is to encourage you to create a personal practice while continuing to use our classes for inspiration on your journey. Be sure to ask about our private sessions as well.

Practicing Meditation
Meditation is always considered a "practice," whether you are new to it or not. But what technique works for you may be different than what works for others. In this class, which is open to new and experienced meditators, we will practice conscious breathing to help still the mind before experiencing a different meditation technique each week. Our intention is to help you discover what invites you to go the deepest and brings you to a place of equanimity.
Gentle Yoga & Relaxation (Restorative)
This class is based on the fundamental physiological principles that encourage the relaxation response. We practice gentle breathing techniques, yoga postures, and use specific props to open the body in a comfortable way to encourage mental and physical relaxation. Every aspect of this class is designed to nurture you and help reduce stress.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) is a meditative practice for deep relaxation and transformation. It is a guided meditation practiced lying down in a savasana (supported relaxation) setup. The practice of Yoga Nidra allows you access to the fertile ground of the subconscious mind between the states of wakeful awareness and deep sleep. In this state lies the wisdom of your true nature where you can plant the seeds of positive change. Come experience the restorative effect this ancient practice will have on your modern life.
